Principal Financial Planner:

Gregory A. Naylor

Gregory A. Naylor, Jr. is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the President of Naylor Asset Management based in the Minneapolis, MN area. He is passionate about helping people make sound financial decisions for themselves and their families and believes education is a primary component of delivering quality financial advice.

The oldest among six siblings, Greg grew up in the upper peninsula of Michigan and started reading the Wall Street Journal when he was 11. His dad is a retired physician and his mom is a retired homemaker who home-schooled all their children. If you ask any of them who had the tougher job, their answer is unanimous.

Greg started his post-high school education as a religion major at Carleton College in Minnesota but transferred to the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in economics in 2004.  He began his career as a financial advisor in the spring of 2006 with a major financial firm. In 2009 he left the corporate world to set up an independent firm so that he could better focus on his clients. Today he’s at the helm of Naylor Asset Management, which is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in the state of Minnesota.

Greg and his wife Kat live with their three young boys in south Minneapolis. She is a nurse practitioner at West Side Community Health Services in St Paul and a volunteer health care provider for political activists. The five can often be found at the Minnesota Children’s Museum, the Como Zoo, or just throwing rocks in the mighty Mississippi. Greg is active in his faith community and participates in a triathlon once a year. When his kids are older he plans to return to volunteer soccer coaching through the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

Client Services Manager:

Meg Pendleton

Meg Pendleton is primarily responsible for overseeing client services at Naylor Asset Management. She focuses on building strong relationships between the advisor and the client. Her goal is to team with principal advisor Greg Naylor to ensure clients and prospective clients have a winning experience working with Naylor Asset Management.

A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Meg graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a degree in Journalism. Her early career took her to the Minneapolis Star Tribune for a few years until she left to start a family. While raising her three children Meg enjoyed working with small businesses on a freelance basis to write newsletters and articles. In 2009 she joined Greg Naylor and colleagues to manage their growing financial planning business.

As Client Services Manager, Meg works to create a successful client/advisor relationship by putting herself in the shoes of the client. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know people and loves helping prospective clients feel at ease. In addition to managing client services, Meg oversees daily operations at Naylor Asset Management. The many hats she wears have allowed her to learn a great deal about the financial planning process.

When not working Meg spends time with her three adult children and her black lab Rory. She loves her faith community and has fun with yoga, gardening, fashion and friends.
